How Do Training Sessions Work?

We understand that at the age of 6, children are just beginning their journey into sports. That’s why our training sessions are tailored to their age and abilities.
  • Warm-Up Games
Playful exercises help children warm up, improve coordination, and enjoy the process.
  • General Physical Fitness
A significant focus is placed on general physical preparation to help children become stronger and more resilient.
  • Basic Boxing Elements
We teach children the correct stance, fundamental punches, and movements. These are essential skills that will benefit them in the future.
  • Coordination Exercises
The training includes activities to develop footwork, balance, and dodging skills.
  • Interactive Partner Exercises
Children practice working in pairs, focusing on dodging, defense, and light touches.
  • Cool Down
A light stretching session, breath stabilization, and a discussion of the child’s progress with parents conclude the training.
Children spend most of their time on gadgets today. The lack of physical activity leads to reduced concentration and health problems. Boxing not only addresses these issues but also lays the foundation for a child’s harmonious development.

Safety First

Parents often worry that boxing might be dangerous. We understand these concerns and prioritize safety in all our activities.
  • No Sparring
Children under 10 years old do not participate in sparring. All exercises focus on learning technique and general physical preparation.
  • Constant Supervision
Our experienced trainers ensure the safe execution of every exercise.
  • Safe Environment
Our gyms and equipment are designed to meet the needs of younger children.

ASKÖ Boxclub Integration Wien is a proud member of the Vienna Regional Association ASKÖ WAT Wien. The club was founded in 2015 by Ukrainian coach Vasiliy Kvasha. Today, it welcomes children aged 6 to 18—both boys and girls.
Throughout its history, the club has received numerous awards: Integrationspreis Burgenland (2019/2020), Integrationspreis Österreich (2022), and Ehrenamtspreis (Integration) (2023). Over the past four years, our athletes have won four Austrian boxing championship titles. In addition to training, we actively organize participation in tournaments across Austria and other European countries.
The club also carries out social initiatives aimed at supporting Vienna residents and helping underprivileged families. We strive to prepare the younger generation for adult life by combining physical training with education and the development of essential life skills.
